Have you noticed that some plugin updates do not appear in the Modular updater, even though they are pending in your WordPress dashboard? It is likely that you are dealing with premium plugins. Let's explain why this happens and how you can manage it.

Why does this happen?

Premium plugins often have an update method that does not go through the official WordPress plugin repository. For this reason, Modular may not automatically detect these pending updates.

What are we doing about it?

We are working to enable the ability to update all types of plugins directly from our platform in the future.

Temporary solution

While we work towards this goal, here is a practical solution:

  • Update from WordPress: Proceed to update the premium plugins directly from your WordPress dashboard.
  • Sync with Modular: After updating, you can force a reload of your website's plugins in Modular using the specific button for this purpose. This will reflect the updated versions on our platform.
  • Check in reports: Once the reload is done, you will see that the plugins appear updated to the correct version. Additionally, they will be shown as updated in the maintenance reports you generate for your clients through Modular.

We appreciate your patience and are committed to enhancing your experience with Modular.

Error Modular

No data appears when connecting Google Analytics

Have you connected your Google account to integrate your website's statistics in Modular, but the Analytics accounts and properties are not appearing for selection? This issue is more common than you might think, and here we will explain how to easily resolve it.

The root of the problem: Permissions

When connecting your Google account with Modular, it is crucial to grant all the requested permissions during the process. These permissions are necessary for Modular to access and retrieve the Analytics data from your account, allowing you to view it on the platform.

Steps to resolve the issue

1. Reconnect your Google account: Start by disconnecting and then reconnecting your Google account within Modular. Ensure you follow the prompts carefully.

2. Grant all permissions: During the reconnection process, make sure to grant all the permissions requested by Modular. These include access to view your Analytics data and manage your account.

3. Check your Google account settings: Verify that your Google account has the necessary permissions to access the Analytics data. You can do this by logging into your Google Analytics account and checking the account settings.

4. Refresh the Modular dashboard: After reconnecting and granting permissions, refresh your Modular dashboard to see if the Analytics data appears.

If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, please contact our support team for further assistance. We are here to help ensure you get the most out of your Modular experience.

Did you forget to grant permissions? No problem

If you didn't select the required permission checkboxes during the initial connection, follow these steps to fix it:

1. Disconnect your Google Analytics account: Look for the button to disconnect your Google Analytics account in Modular, located at the bottom of the Analytics section of your website.

2. Reconnect: After disconnecting, go through the connection process again. This time, make sure to check all the permission boxes that the system requests.

3. Done!

By completing these steps and granting the necessary permissions, Modular will be able to access your Analytics data. You will then be able to select the corresponding accounts and properties to integrate your website's statistics into the platform.
